Tracy Spiridakos, a Canadian actress from Canada. She appeared in the Teletoon children’s comedy series Majority Rules as Becky Richards. between 2009 and 2010. She was then on the show as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson on the NBC post-apocalyptic science fiction show Revolution between 2012 and 2014, for which she received from 2009-2010 for a Saturn Award for Best Actress on TV. She played Annika Johnson in the A&E television drama Bates Motel. Spiridakos appeared as Detective Hailey Upton on the television show Bates from A&E. Motel. as Detective Hailey Upton, Spiridakos is the main character. Spiridakos was the daughter of restaurant owner George Spiridakos, who were both born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has two brothers. When she was born, her family relocated to Skala, Greece, south of Sparta. They returned to Canada in 1992. Spiridakos is very proud of her Greek family and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting when she was in junior high school. Later, she went to the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Winnipeg. Spiridakos moved to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting. She was offered her first TV role within weeks, a small part with Supernatural. She continued to do television work, playing walk-on roles in Bionic Woman's The L Word, Hellcats, Psych and other shows. Spiridakos made an appearance in the TV movie Goblin as well as the web-based television series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Spiridakos also appeared on Being Human as the werewolf Brynn McCLean. In 2009 she was cast as her first role in a starring part as Becky Richards, a 15-year-old girl who appeared on Canadian Teletoon's Majority Rules! Her feature film debut came in the year 2011 with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. In Kill for Me, she was in the role of Katie Cassidy and Donal Logue. Spiridakos played the role of Sammi in Rags (2012) The Nickelodeon original movie. Spiridakos then was offered the lead role in Revolution, as Charlotte Matheson (survivor of the dystopian future), on NBC television. She auditioned while attending her pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos filmed the pilot in Atlanta as well as the first season in Wilmington. Because of her performance in the pilot, she was nominated to win the Saturn Award for Best Actress on television. She was defeated by Fringe's Anna Torv. The series' second season was shot in Austin, Texas.
