Camille Veronica Kostek was a born and raised in Killingworth. She is the daughter of Alan Kostek, a contractor and Christina (nee Decosta), a manager at a gym. She was an ex- National Football League (NFL) cheerleader for the New England Patriots (2013-14) before coming to prominence for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and then gaining international attention after having a cover of her own with the magazine in 2019. She graduated from Haddam Kiltingworth High School in Higganum, Connecticut. She was also a student in communications at Eastern Connecticut State University in Communications.
