Sabrina Annlynn Carpenter was born on May 11, 1999. She is an American actor and singer. Carpenter's acting debut came with Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and she was a guest on. She first gained recognition for her role as Chloe Goodwin, the young version of Chloe Goodwin, in The Goodwin Games. She then had her breakthrough acting as Maya Hart in the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World from 2014 until 2017. Carpenter has appeared in the feature films Horns (2013) and The Hate U Give (2018) and was a part of Jenny in the Disney Channel Original Movie Adventures in Babysitting (2016). Carpenter, an actor in voice, played an integral part of the Disney Channel animated series Sofia the First (2013) until the year 2018. She also played Melissa Chase in the Disney XD animated series Milo Murphy's Law (2016). Carpenter's debut EP called Can't Blame a Girl for Trying was released in that same year. The first single she released, as well as her debut EP, were both issued by Hollywood Records. Her debut album, Eyes Wide Open, in the year 2015, and she has since released three more albums from her studio: Evolution (2016), Singular Act I (2018) and Singular: Act II (2019). Carpenter left Hollywood Records to sign with Island Records. She released "Skin" her debut single on the 22nd of January 2021.
