Magda Apanowicz is a Canadian actress. Her most famous work is her role on ABC Family's Kyle XY as Andy Jensen and Syfy's Caprica science fiction drama as Lacy Rand. Emily Hartwell, a science fiction actress was born Maya Hartwell. Recently, she starred as Sandy in the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz she is a Polish-American, spent the ninth year in Poland. She lived with her uncle in Poland, and was a student at Jelenia Gola School. Later, she attended Vancouver Film School. She started her acting career at 10 years old when her brother introduced her to Pulp Fiction. In 2002, she began her first acting appearances on the TV series Jeremiah. She also appeared briefly on John Doe's TV series. From 2007 to 2009, she played the Kyle XY role of Andy Jensen. In 2008, she starred as Andy Jensen in Every Second Counts on the Hallmark Channel. In 2009, Apanowicz was cast to as Lacy Rand in Caprica's TV drama starring Eric Stoltz & Alessandra Turresani. In the following season, she appeared on Hellcats. In 2012, she was an actress in Jane Espenson's second season of the romance web series Husbands. In 2013, Apanowicz played Emily in the show Continuum. She was also Samantha in The Green Inferno horror film written by Eli Roth. The Green Inferno was originally shot in 2012. It was released internationally in the year 2015. Apanowicz was cast in Volition as Angela. The film came out in 2020.In 2019, Apanowicz was cast in the role of Sandy in the second season of the Netflix thriller You.
