Abbie Cornish is an Australian actress from Australia. She began modeling at the age of 13 and her first acting gig was at the age of 15. Her roles in films as well as TV shows followed. Cornish is most well-known for her roles as the courtier Bess Throckmorton in the historical film 'Elizabeth: The Golden Age', the heroin addict of the title in 'Candy,' Lindy in the Sci-fi thriller "Limitless," and Fanny Brawne in the biopic "Bright Star". On the television, she is known for her role in 'Outriders' as well as 'Marking Time'. Cornish is a performer and rapper who has performed since the year 2000 under the stage name MC Dusk. Born in New South Wales and raised with three brothers and a sister, she enjoyed good childhood, before her parents separated when she was just 16. Abbie is a strong woman who managed to get over the heartbreaking divorce of her parents. The Australian beauty is a great musician and pianist, however, she is a performer more than anything else. Cornish is a strict vegan has a strong belief in the rights of animals. Cornish can also be found contributing to animal rights groups. Abbie Cornish was born in Lochinvar, New South Wales on August 7, 1982. She is the second of the five kids of Barry and Shelley Cornish. Isabelle Corish, her older sister is also an actress. The actress was once in a relationship with Ryan Phillippe, an actor she dated between 2006 and 2010.
